THANK YOU!

Thank you to all of our volunteers, sponsors and community for your support of the Jimmy Carter Work Project 2007! We hope that you will continue to work with Habitat for Humanity of Greater LA and help us continue "Building a Greater Los Angeles".

As part of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles’ (HFH GLA) mission to eliminate poverty housing in our community, HFH GLA launched their Building a Greater Los Angeles 3-year campaign to build 250 homes over the next 3 years in Los Angeles County. This campaign was kicked off with a groundbreaking ceremony led by President Carter on March 30, 2007. The first 100 homes were completed through the Jimmy Carter Work Project 2007. In addition to building homes for families in need, new youth programs, affordable housing advocacy initiatives, and the A Brush with Kindness program are already underway.
